my nocturnal life

I am re-igniting the flame of an old love affair. Toast.
There are so many things you can put on toast. Butter. Peanut Butter. Cinnamon & sugar. Jam.
The list goes on and on.

I want to start going on a morning walk. I thought I would start today, so I was hoping to get to sleep at a decent time last night. Midnight-thirty. That's decent. Plans went awry when Ella Enchanted came on the TV. Alright, 2AM. Not awful. Went to bed and got distracted making a new playlist on my itunes. 2:30am Shayna comes knocking on my door. Must away to the Osco (because I refuse to call it "the Jewel") to buy white vinegar. The roommate has an ear-ache.
I couldn't let her walk to the store alone. Not with all the scary people hiding behind bushes and in dark alleys. Lies. Although, there are a lot of people out riding their bikes in the wee hours of the morning.
We bothered the pharmacist on duty and drilled him on all of his ear knowledge. He was wearing an undersized lab coat. The sleeves ended above his elbows, the coat ended at his waist, and it was held together by a single button in the front. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was wearing a children's pharmacist Halloween costume. But that's impossible. What child, in their right mind, would want to be a pharmacist for Halloween?
We bought ourselves some ice cream for the walk home. "Jen & Berry's" as I kept trying to call it. It had been an impossibly long day.
Stayed up until 4am funneling vinegar through Shayna's ear, into her eye.
