The week disappeared somewhere underneath marathons of Ghost Hunters on my laptop, window shopping adventures, long walks to nowhere, and Dad's Root Beer.
Not exactly sure what happened there, but it seems that it is now officially the early hours of Friday morning, marking the half-way point of August.
Really, I just spent my time trying to recover from Emma's visit. Tired all the time.
No crazy adventures to speak of. Just living vicariously through my favorite ghost hunting fools. Skeptical I may be, but I've always had a fascination with ghost phenomenon shows, dating back to Unsolved Mysteries. As a child I would occasionally work up the nerve to watch Robert Stack host what was (to me) the scariest shit on earth. I felt like I had hit the jackpot whenever a ghost-related episode was on. Of course I would spend the rest of the week as an insomniac.
To this day, I can't pass up a good ghost phenomenon television show, but I'm happy to say it no longer requires that I spend the following nights trying to sleep with the lights on.
