beat me up, beat me down

NOON:
Sitting at Dunkin Donuts between classes. One extra large (and hopefully super caffeinated) coffee. Not the best coffee, but the price definitely beats Starbucks or Caribou.
I woke up late today. 10 minutes before I needed to leave, which gave me enough time to put in my eyeballs, brush my teeth, get dressed**, and grab my iPod so I could listen to angry music while I get felt up on the commute into the city dying morning rush hour.
Always the highlight of my day.
I supposed it doesn't help that I stayed up late to watch Woody Allen's "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex..." but then ditched it halfway through to submit to the call of my current addiction: Ghost Hunters. I needed a hit and Woody Allen would not deny me.
Don't judge me.
Now that it has officially interfered with my ability to go to school, maybe I should be concerned.
So now I'm sitting here, unshowered, and looking like the dead. Looks like I won't be making any new friends today. I can only hope that my teacher won't put us in groups duing my next class. The least I can do is go find a pack of gum to chew on. Mission is go.

**Put on half dirty, half clean clothes. Once you're late the normal rules that once governed your life and kept you from frightening the world no longer apply.
