Heinous

I'm not usually one to get involved in politics (or related matters), but I came across this today and was completely outraged.
I am going to copy and paste some info from Anderson Cooper's blog... partly because he's a fabulous journalist, and partly because it's 12:30am and I need to go to bed. This should set it up for you:

the Assistant Attorney General is under fire for a blog he has written that takes aim at the gay student body president at the University of Michigan.
Some say the Assistant AG Andrew Shirvell is obsessed with Chris Armstrong. The first posting on Shirvell's blog called "Chris Armstrong Watch" has a photo of Armstrong with the word "resign" over his face, along with a swastika and rainbow flag.

You can watch the interview here. I would also recommend checking out Shirvell's blog which clearly shows how a normal college student's actions are completely misconstrued. Anyone with any sense at all can see that Shirvell is grasping at strings to generate hatred and intolerance toward an innocent party. I am completely outraged that a human being like this is in a position of political power. It sickens me how someone can be so hateful toward a person based purely on their sexual orientation... so much to the point where it becomes obsessive stalking. This man needs to quit wasting his time.

He'll get his in the end. Karma always comes back around.
