Take Me Home Tonight

Yesterday turned out to be my lucky day.
A guy I work with had two free tickets to a screening of Take Me Home Tonight, starring Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, and featuring Demitri Martin. Since he couldn't go, he handed off the tickets to me and having never heard of the movie I didn't know exactly what I was in for.
Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was edgy and actually funny... classic, but not annoyingly predictable. It was refreshing to see a movie about the '80s that wasn't a spoof about the decade. And ever since Superbad, I've been waiting to see another seriously funny movie with loveable characters.

After the movie, there was a brief Q&A with actors Topher Grace and Demitri Martin and then an after-party at a nearby bar. It was incredibly nice of the actors to make an appearance at the party, even though they were obviously exhausted. But the free food and drinks kept coming long after the actors were gone.

Didn't get a picture with Topher Grace... so here's a picture of Jeff instead. Two rather good looking fellas, I think.
