London, I remember you

Thursday was an absolute nightmare. I was running on very little sleep to begin with, ran to the corner coffee shop (oh yes, I support local business) and no coffee!? So I ordered an Americano with cream.
As I ran up the stairs of the train station, I spilled scalding coffee all over my hand and realized- no creamer. Great. Not only was my hand red and sore, but I was forced to drink my coffee straight.
I later found out that the teacher for my first class didn't show up, and then I waited around downtown for three hours before discovering that my second class was canceled.
Best day ever.

Lately I've been home-away-from-home homesick. I miss long walks to nowhere, going to EAT after class, grabbing the best cookies in town from the Charing Cross train station, and late night pub crawls. I miss the markets. I miss it all...
I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Annnnnnd.... yes
There seems to be a rumor going around (that I may or may not have started myself) that I don't like holding hands. Well anyway, not entirely true. Not entirely important. Just hilariously pointed out to me last night as I was having a giggle fit over the ridiculous act Merlin was doing to Mr. Beans (a bean-filled teddy bear). It was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen a cat do. I laughed so hard I cried myself into oblivion until my make-up ran and I looked like Amy Winehouse.
