Chugging my fourth cup of coffee in hopes that it will be enough to motivate me to get a move on. Plenty to do today, but the past two weeks have got me running on empty.
Filming for my first ever short film (because everything I did in high school is obsolete) happened on Wednesday. For a minute I worried that it wasn't going to happen at all because when class started, no one from my group was there. Just me trying to juggle a tripod, a camera, and my guitar all by myself. And one of my actresses had fainted in the shower that morning so she was MIA when we started shooting. Everyone ended showing up fashionably late, but it was fine. I didn't get all the shots I wanted, but I got the ones I needed which is the most important thing.
Half-way through, an older man donning neon yellow socks and an electric pink t-shirt was kind enough to grace us with his presence... and hatred for the free masons.
warning: adult content ahead
He literally walked into the middle of our shoot, stood there and pointed at a half built high-rise in the distance. For a moment, we all stared with him until he finally turned and said "You see that building?? ... I built that! I built that!!! Not those f**king free masons!!"
Then he took a few steps away from us, turned back and continued, while flicking us all off.
"All you f**king free masons are going to burn in hell! ALL OF YOU!! You're going to hell with a hag!!!"
And then he was gone.
Today I have to run downtown and turn in my film so it can be developed before Wednesday. Then I'm on a mission to find a wine kit... or make my own? My group in microbio decided that it would be fun to make wine as our big semester project. School has never been more awesome.
