Life in the new apartment is going well. The other night Renee and I had ice cream for dinner, shared a bottle of red wine and listened to some old Steve Martin comedy on vinyl. The night was complete with terrible attempts at violin playing and Egyptian dancing.
Last night I successfully cooked dinner, then went out for some free comedy.
I woke up way too many times during the night from the sound of my own laughter. As weird as it sounds, yes I do laugh in my sleep. And last night I was having one hell of a hilarious dream. I remember what it was about..and I promise it's funnier in the jibberish narrative that the subconcious mind creates. It was weird, I'll tell you that much. And it's always nice to wake up in a good mood after a night of giggling.
Tomorrow Renee and I are hosting a BBQ party that no one is really coming to. Probably. Or we're going to have a great turn out and find out we've vastly underestimated how much food we needed. If it all falls to pieces, I'm taking the party down the street to the Irish pub. You can always count on an Irish pub. Plus it'll be a Friday night. The party will inevitably end up at a bar anyway...or at least half of our guests will end up at one.
