I confess: I watched the Royal Wedding this morning.
As I watched, I thought about all the past royalty who have been married in similar ceremonies. And I imagined how it would have been hundreds of years ago... as they rode carriages from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.. to the kiss on the balcony as all the "peasants" watched from below. Sure, the British monarchy no longer rules the country so who really cares?
But honestly, I thought it was beautiful. Everything a fairy tale wedding should be. And it made me excited, thinking about reaching that point in my life.
