Well it's come time to announce that Renee and I are officially breaking up after our long relationship as roommates. We've had a good run, and even though the lazy side of me doesn't want to move all my junk to a new place, I think it's probably time for us to go our separate ways. Don't worry.. we'll still remain friends.
Look, here were are hanging out at a Red Cross event together!
This past Monday I was finally able to volunteer some time to help the Red Cross at their annual golf tournament. It's basically a way for them to raise money to continue doing their work within the community. I was charged with the difficult task of making sure the photographer got all the shots that were needed. Actually, the photographer I was assisting is from the same hometown as me! ... all the way back in the middle of nowhere, Michigan. Small world.
Life has been pretty normal, otherwise. I'm working on editing a short video for a girl's college application. I've also applied to grad school. I guess that's pretty big for me. The plan is to get my masters in advertising and public relations. It's not the direction I initially expected to go in, but it feels very right so I'm happy going that route. Not that I've lost the dream of getting into film work and editing, I just feel like this will open up a lot more opportunities.
So there's that. I have to go find something to do for a little while because I don't want to be here when our landlord comes in to show the apartment. Just awkward.
