Ok, so it's been a while. To be fair, I've sat down and started writing before but then never finished or decided not to publish it. But it's my day off and since it's still technically morning I figured I'd spend some time oversharing on the internet before I get started on all the other crap I need to do today. First on the agenda though... put my contacts in!
Ok, better.
I used to use this blog to keep my friends and family up to date while I was overseas for school, and then again when I moved to Chicago to finish college, but then I never really left and now Chicago is my home so I guess the novelty has worn off. Now I'm left wondering if I should abandon the blog thing or turn it into something else. I'm still working on what that something else might be. I used to write movie reviews here and there but my lack of funds has kept me from going to see movies. And let's face it- no one really cares once a movie is out on Netflix. Everyone else has already reviewed it by then. Since I'm not currently doing reviews, I can make all the spelling and grammatical errors I want and I like it that way. So there!
But uh.. yeah. Well, in case you were unaware, I am now in grad school for public relations and advertising. At least there's that. I've also gotten back into the world of Scottish highland dance, which I was hoping would kick my ass back into shape, but one day a week probably isn't enough for that.
Well there it is. At least for now. I've wasted enough time and have to get on with my day... do adult things. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out how I'm supposed to be an adult when I still eat cheese quesadillas for most of my dinners.
