Today we had really exciting guests here at the Pavilion. James Franco came in to promote his short film The Clerk's Tale which is based off of a poem (because I guess he's studying poetry now) and he directed it. All week I've been excited to see him... I can't help it, the man is gorgeous. He also happens to be really out there. I couldn't tell if he was hungover, stoned, or just on something in general. Weirdo. I still like looking at him though.
Following James, we had Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams in to talk about their new movie Blue Valentine. I was lucky enough to attend a screening of it last night and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone needs to see this film. It's gut wrenching and at times painful, but it's so beautiful. Fortunately the Wienstein Company picked it up and it will be released in most theaters in December. It's a long time to wait, but I'll definitely be going to see it again. It's the best movie I've seen in a LONG time.
Tonight is Karaoke night at the Pavilion. I plan on checking it out, maybe doing a bit of singing... I've got to run over to the Kodak Pavilion now to grab some free wine.
