"You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger"

This morning I went to the press screening of Woody Allen's You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger. I enjoyed it. It reminded me more of his old stuff. Definitely thousands of times better than Cassandra's Dream, which I saw one too many times for reasons I'd rather not say.
The rest of the day has been all conference stuff with various filmmakers. The first panel was a discussion with up-and-coming directors who have independent films in competition here. Our second panel was with John Cooper (president of the Sundance Film Festival) and Gregg Araki, whose new film Kaboom is premiering here tonight. For those of you who don't know, he's also into more independent filmmaking and has made films such as Mysterious Skin and Smiley Face.
I also met the creator of IMDB. Pretty damn nifty.

This evening I'm off to look for a screening to attend. I'm thinking Nude Nuns with Big Guns.

I'm hoping to start posting some pictures on here when I get the chance. It's difficult since I didn't bring my own laptop with me.
Keep checking back for more updates! I didn't go out last night because I wasn't feeling well. It's amazing what a full 8 hours of sleep will do for you! So tonight I'll be hitting the town to attempt some more networking. I love that going out for drinks with people is considered business here. I think I could get used to this :)
