Walking home from the train this evening was scarier than usual. I was witness to a suspicious SUV being pulled over by the cops... they got everyone out of the vehicle and had them pressed against the cop car. I didn't know I could walk so fast.
And now that I'm sitting here in my room, I can hear scurrying in the wall above my window. Or maybe whatever kind of beast it is, is in the blinds. I'm too afraid to look, but it has the cat going absolutely bonkers. Maybe I'll sleep on the couch tonight just in case the monster decides to jump out of its hiding place in the middle of the night and eat my face off.
What a tragically bizarre news story that would make.
